The current focus on the role of museums, heritage and culture in supporting health and wellbeing makes our theme particularly topical. In this session we’ll be taking a critical view on this area of museum practice and asking:
- Who is doing what, and why?
- How does it impact hospitals and healthcare environments and the staff who work there?
- How does it impact the wellbeing of the museum and heritage staff delivering programmes in hospitals and healthcare settings?
- Does the museums and heritage sector have something unique to offer, and is it the best use of limited funds?
